Preamble
These Terms & Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "Terms") govern all sales of products made by Puzzy (hereinafter the "Seller") to any consumer (hereinafter the "Customer") via the website www.puzzypuzzle.fr.
In accordance with Article L.111-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer acknowledges having read these Terms before placing an order. Confirming any order constitutes unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
These Terms are drafted in accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code, European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, and Regulation (EU) 2019/1150.

VAT: under the VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (Art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code), prices are net of VAT and the statement "VAT not applicable — Art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code" applies.
Puzzy is a brand of adult puzzles combining astrology, tarot, and erotic illustration. Our products are intended exclusively for adults (18 and older).
Article 2 — Products
The products offered for sale are 500-piece adult puzzles, made in Europe, FSC-certified, and illustrated by original artists. Each puzzle comes in packaging sealed with a protective plastic film.
The essential characteristics of the products are described on the site's product pages. The photographs and illustrations shown are as accurate as possible but are not contractually binding.
The products comply with applicable French and European regulations. Our products contain adult content and are not intended for minors.
Article 3 — Price
Prices are shown in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes, excluding delivery costs. Applicable VAT is that in effect on the day of the order in accordance with French law.
Puzzy reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
Delivery costs are shown at the time of order and billed in addition to the price of the products. They vary depending on the chosen delivery method and destination.
Article 4 — Ordering
4.1 Order process
The Customer places an order directly on www.puzzypuzzle.fr. The order process includes the following steps: selecting products and adding them to the cart; reviewing and confirming the cart; identification or account creation; entering the delivery address; choosing the delivery method; entering payment information; final review and confirmation of the order.
In accordance with Article L.221-14 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may review the details of their order and its total price before confirming acceptance.
4.2 Order confirmation
The order is considered final once the confirmation double-click is completed, in accordance with Article 1127-2 of the French Civil Code. A confirmation summary email is sent to the Customer as soon as possible.
4.3 Product availability
Product offers are valid while stocks last. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Customer will be informed by email as soon as possible. The order will be cancelled and the Customer fully refunded.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is made online, securely, using the payment methods accepted on the site (credit card, PayPal, or any other method indicated at checkout).
Transactions are secured by SSL encryption. Puzzy does not store any banking data. Payment is processed by a PCI-DSS certified provider.
Payment is charged when the order is confirmed. If payment is declined by the bank, the order will be automatically cancelled.
Article 6 — Delivery
6.1 Delivery area
Puzzy delivers to mainland France and European Union countries. Specific delivery fees may apply depending on the destination.
6.2 Delivery times
Delivery times are shown on product pages and confirmed when the order is placed. In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, Puzzy undertakes to deliver products within a maximum of 30 days from order confirmation.
In the event of a delivery delay not attributable to force majeure, the Customer may cancel their order by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt if delivery has not taken place within a reasonable additional period.
6.3 Receipt and inspection
Upon receiving their order, the Customer is asked to check the condition of the package and products in the presence of the delivery person. If damage is found, the Customer must note specific reservations on the delivery slip and contact Puzzy within 48 hours.
Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal
7.1 General principle
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code transposing European Directive 2011/83/EU, the Customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their reasons or pay any penalty.
7.2 Exception to the right of withdrawal — Sealed products
Important clause — exception to the right of withdrawal.
In accordance with Article L.221-28 (5°) of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for sealed goods which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery.
Accordingly, no return or refund will be accepted in the following cases: the protective plastic film on the puzzle box has been removed, peeled off, or damaged in any way; the box has been opened and/or the puzzle pieces have been handled; the original packaging shows signs of opening, even partial.
This exception is based on the very nature of the product: once the plastic film has been removed, it is impossible to guarantee that the puzzle pieces have not been handled, partially assembled, or that pieces have not been removed from the box.
7.3 Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal (unsealed products)
For products whose plastic film is intact and undamaged, the Customer may exercise their right of withdrawal by contacting Puzzy by email at love@puzzypuzzle.fr, clearly stating their intention to withdraw and their order number.
The Customer must return the product in its original packaging, intact and unsealed, within 14 days of notifying their withdrawal. Return shipping costs are the Customer's responsibility.
The refund will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned product or proof of shipment, using the same payment method used for the order.
7.4 Withdrawal form
In accordance with Article L.221-9 of the French Consumer Code, a withdrawal form is available on request at love@puzzypuzzle.fr, or may be sent by email with the following content:
"To the attention of Puzzy (love@puzzypuzzle.fr) — I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract for order no. […] placed on […] and received on […]. Consumer name: […]. Address: […]. Date: […]."
Article 8 — Legal Warranties
8.1 Legal warranty of conformity
In accordance with Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, Puzzy is required to deliver goods that conform to the contract. In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer benefits from a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the date the goods are delivered.
During this period, the Customer may choose between repair or replacement of the goods. If repair or replacement is not possible, the Customer may obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract with a full refund.
This warranty applies independently of any commercial warranty and does not affect the exception related to the removal of the plastic film (Article 7.2).
8.2 Warranty against hidden defects
In accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, Puzzy is liable for hidden defects in the goods sold that render them unfit for their intended use, or that reduce that use to such an extent that the buyer would not have purchased them, or would have paid a lower price, had they known of the defects.
The Customer has 2 years from discovery of the defect to take action. They may choose between rescission of the sale or a price reduction.
Article 9 — Liability
Puzzy's liability may only be engaged for acts directly attributable to it that cause direct harm to the Customer. Puzzy cannot be held liable for inconveniences or damages inherent to the use of the Internet, including service interruptions, outside intrusions, or the presence of computer viruses.
Puzzy cannot be held liable for indirect damages such as loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of image, or loss of opportunity.
Article 10 — Adult Content and Age of Majority
Puzzy products contain erotic illustrations and are intended exclusively for adults (18 and older). By placing an order, the Customer certifies that they are at least 18 years old.
Puzzy disclaims all liability in the event of a false statement regarding the Customer's age. Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for minors' access to these products.
Article 11 — Intellectual Property
All illustrations, images, text, logos, and any other content on www.puzzypuzzle.fr and on Puzzy products are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of Puzzy and/or its partner artists.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, or adaptation, in whole or in part, of these elements is strictly prohibited without the prior written authorization of Puzzy, under penalty of legal action.
Article 12 — Protection of Personal Data
The processing of personal data collected during ordering is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our site. In accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), the Customer has rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability regarding their data.
Article 13 — Force Majeure
Puzzy cannot be held liable for the total or partial non-performance of its obligations if this is due to a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including natural disasters, fire, strikes, pandemics, war, telecommunications network failures, or any other cause beyond Puzzy's control.
Article 14 — Dispute Resolution and Mediation
In the event of a dispute, the Customer must first contact Puzzy by email at love@puzzypuzzle.fr to attempt to reach an amicable solution.
In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, if an amicable settlement attempt fails, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Puzzy uses the following mediation service: the Customer can contact the relevant mediator via the European online dispute resolution platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
In the absence of an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
Article 15 — Applicable Law and Contract Language
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the Customer's country of residence within the European Union.
These Terms are drafted in French. In the event of translation into another language, only the French version shall prevail.
Article 16 — Changes to the Terms
Puzzy reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in effect at the time the order is placed. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
